Analyzing key requirements, functional applications, and agricultural market realities for multinational sourcing divisions.
Modern veterinary and animal nutrition sectors demand premium standardized Alfalfa derivatives. Highly valued for natural saponins, essential amino acids, and vitamin matrixes, they promote gastrointestinal health, increase feed conversion ratios (FCR), and replace artificial antibiotics in industrial poultry, swine, and aquaculture feed formulations.
Human supplement formulators utilize Alfalfa extracts for high chlorophyll content, phytoestrogens (isoflavones), and alkalizing properties. Brands require standardized active markers, zero carrier cross-contamination, high water solubility, and chemical-free processing to appeal to clean-label consumers.
Thanks to antioxidant phenolic compounds and skin-barrier-supportive trace minerals, Alfalfa-derived actives serve as key natural components in anti-aging cosmetic formulations. Sourcing teams prioritize batch stability, complete deodorization, and absolute purity from heavy metals and pesticide residues.

UniCare attaches great importance to the hardware conditions of production equipment and has the largest and most advanced extraction factory in China. The entire production line in UniCare is controlled by a modern, intelligent, automatic control system.
Until now, UniCare has built up two GMP workshops, containing six multi-functional extraction lines, among which there is the only production line for Ginkgo Biloba Extract of acetone process in the whole China. Here are several other production lines including fermentation production lines and Chinese medicine pieces. A total of 30,000 tons of various Chinese medicine plant raw materials can be processed each year.

All operations and facility environments adhere strictly to domestic and international GMP guidelines, assuring batch consistency.

Our Ginkgo Biloba Extract extraction facilities carry validated EU-GMP and CEP certifications, demonstrating high standard compliance.

All extraction production lines integrate automated control networks, monitoring parameters like pressure, temperature, and flow in real time.

We operate highly efficient extractors in China, optimizing botanical yield rates and minimizing thermal degradation of active compounds.

A high-capacity industrial plant base prepared for bulk orders of Alfalfa, Ginkgo, Epimedium, and other botanical materials.

Includes three dynamic countercurrent extraction lines (10 & 15 tons); two multi-functional extraction lines (32 tanks of 6m³); and one round dynamic countercurrent extraction line.

We host the only acetone process Ginkgo extraction line in China that aligns with rigorous EU GMP regulatory expectations, delivering highly pure, low-ginkgolic-acid fractions.

Six large-scale 20-ton bio-fermentation tanks for enzyme-modified actives, transforming natural compounds into bioavailable options.

United New Life (UniCare) has established a leading and complete quality control system, and strictly controls the high quality of products in accordance with the quality system. With advanced testing instruments and strict control of product quality, we provide every customer with high quality products.
Our analytical capacity spans every phase of botanical processing, from raw material validation to final post-extraction release assays. This is supported by our modern testing equipment and methods.
Every single batch of plant material, including our premium Alfalfa products, goes through a standardized suite of assessments:
Validation of key active molecules (flavonoids, saponins, L-canavanine) using ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) and UV-Vis spectrophotometers.
Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS-MS) screening detects organochlorine compounds and trace solvents, meeting EU and FDA standards.
Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) tests for heavy metals, ensuring Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium, and Mercury levels remain well below toxicological thresholds.

Bridging academia with standardized agriculture to deliver cost-effective and premium botanical products.
UniCare invests 10% of our annual net profit back into research and development. In addition to optimizing and developing the existing natural plant extraction process, we have also established a professional R&D department for natural fermentation products. By increasing investment in natural fermentation products, we try to break through traditional processes and drive industry progress.
We maintain a close research collaboration with the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in the field of fermentation. This partnership focuses on co-developing and scaling new raw materials for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and natural health products into high-volume production.
To control raw materials efficiently and with higher quality, a raw material procurement system has been established. This system extends procurement directly to the farming land, enabling us to trace the raw materials of each product batch. The storage of raw materials is managed under an advanced quality management system, where active ingredients, moisture, ash, heavy metals, and pesticide residues are closely controlled.
At the same time, to ensure the quality of key products, UniCare cooperates with growers to establish dedicated ginkgo leaf, epimedium, phellodendron, and olive leaf planting bases. Some of these bases are managed strictly in accordance with the GACP model. In addition, we cooperate with seedling research companies to develop high-content cultivars through hybridization or gene optimization, helping to reduce unit costs for our partners.
Our strategic development path for refining natural molecules and optimizing agricultural yields.
Improving target active molecule content (such as saponins in Alfalfa and icariin in Epimedium) right at the seedling stage. Through gene selection, we develop resilient crops that lower cost-per-kilo ratios.
Utilizing our 20-ton fermentation tanks to transform complex, hard-to-absorb glycosides into bio-available aglycones. This improves the performance and absorption of our nutraceutical and cosmetic ingredients.
Transitioning toward water-based, supercritical CO2, and clean ethanol extraction systems. This eliminates chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents, ensuring cleaner residues in compliance with strict EU and FDA regulations.
Providing the documentation and quality assurance required by international regulatory bodies.
We supply complete documentation including DMF, CEP, technical datasheets, Kosher/Halal certification, and GMO declarations, facilitating smooth regulatory approvals for your formulations.
We systematically monitor and control residues like ethylene oxide (ETO), pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), ensuring full compliance with EU Regulations.
With experienced custom compliance experts, we secure seamless entry across North American, European, and Asia-Pacific ports through secure, temperature-controlled transit routes.
